Staff changes
In March we celebrated our first year in the new "Netuxo Towers" here at Daro Works and the past few months have been a busy period in the office with people coming and going. Those of you who met our recent intern Paul Wrighton will be pleased to hear that after just six weeks working with Netuxo he secured a post at another IT support and recycling company here in London. Congratulations Paul!
Following Paul's departure we now welcome Ivy Townsend to the team. Ivy will be working with us for the next three months, predominantly on database development projects and honing her customer support skills.
We are also very pleased to announce that admin and finance worker Nik Gorecki has recently become a Netuxo director and formally joined the team. Nik is also standing for election to the UK Employee/Worker Co-operative Council on behalf of Netuxo this May as part of our push to become more involved in the national worker co-operative movement.
See http://tinyurl.com/workercoop for details. Vote Nik!
Internet cafe project
We are searching for a partner to host a free community internet cafe. The idea is that Netuxo provides all the necessary hardware and labour to setup the network free of charge and our partner - ideally an existing community cafe, arts space or other open project - gets the benefit of an additional resource. All we are looking for in return is some good PR and a bit more space in our office ... once the hardware finds a new home!
Interested? If so, drop us a line at office@netuxo.co.uk or call 020 8985 6843 and we can send you project proposal.
